Pi day is just around the corner and we’re putting our own spin on this fun day. Oinking Acres will be open Saturday March 14th from 11am-2:30pm for visitors.
This is a ticketed event and they must be purchased in advance. Tickets for this special event are $14 each and includes an Oatmeal Cream Pie that you can feed to your favorite pig on the farm. OCP are normally just used for medication dispersion so this will be a big treat for most. Your ticket will also include admission to The Kitty Cuddle Cottage.
Visitors are encouraged to interact and get to know our friendly residents. Our goal is to introduce our community to the animals we advocate for, changing perceptions and showing just how intelligent and wonderful pigs really are.
Our self guided tours are best for children 6 years and older and we do not allow strollers or wagons on the farm as they tend to scare the sanctuary residents. Please note we don’t allow dogs on the farm or to be walked through the farm.
The Kitty Cottage will be open as well. After you’re done spending time with the pigs, pop on in the cottage and meet some of our adoptable kittens! The Cottage is best suited for children over the age of 8 years old.
Dress for the farm! Wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes or boots.
