Sponsoring a farm sanctuary resident is a unique way to spread compassion and a loving way to give back. We hope you will consider giving to one of our adorable residents that call Oinking Acres home! We have over 300 residents at Oinking Acres and truly depend on your support to keep our barn doors open. Your $25 a month donation will provide an animal with feed, medical care, and supplies. Monthly supporters will receive exclusive updates, pictures, and hand written notes every few months in the mail. In order to receive these please opt in for to receive things via mail when you sign up.

The ones that got away

Oinking Acres is home to several pigs that escaped slaughter. Most of them jumped off trucks when they were just 3 weeks old. The truck jumpers have helped shape our mission and have ultimately changed the trajectory moving forward. My goal is to be in a position where we never have to say "no" to a truck jumper. Oinking Acres exists for the ones that got away. Your monthly contribution gives us the ability to care for the big pigs that have already found refuge at the sanctuary as well as gives us the stability to say "yes" to the next brave pig that manages to escape from a terrible life and miserable death.

The pigs

Oinking Acres is home to nearly a 100 pigs! All of these pigs have come to us from neglect, hoarding, abuse, or abandonment cases while others have been picked up as strays by animal control. All of these pigs have unique and individual personalities and make bonds and connections with other pigs at the sanctuary. They have little friend and family groups!

The mini horses

We have two mini horses that live at our offsite location with the mules. Pearl came to us several years ago with several medical issues and her previous owners were not able to care for her. She has since had surgery and made a full recovery. Butterscotch came to us from a cruelty case. Her hooves were so overgrown she could barely walk. With proper nutrition and monthly maintenance, she too has made a full recovery.

These dogs live with our goats and sheep and take their job of flock protectors very seriously. They are the best dogs ever!
