Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary will be open this weekend, August 30th-31st from 11am-2:30pm for Flower Fest!

Tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $10 per person (including children of all ages) or tickets can be purchased at the door for $12. We take our last visitor 30 minutes before we close and please note we do not allow dogs to be walked in the sanctuary or permit wagons or strollers to come through as they tend to scare the residents.

This is everything you’ll find at Flower Fest-

1- lots of merch! Take home a shirt or sticker with your favorite resident on it!

2- Tons of delicious vegan snacks including a variety of Rebel Cheese, vegan salami and jerky, fruit spreads, and our famous pickles are restocked!

3- Nature’s Plate will be serving up all kinds of delicious vegan dishes so come hungry and enjoy your lunch in the garden!

4- Speaking of the garden… she is absolutely STUNNING. We have row after row of zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, and sunflowers all waiting to be cut and arranged in a cute little take home vase. Stems are $1 and our unique, vintage vases range from $1-$8.

5- The Kitty Cottage is open this weekend too! After you’re done spending time with the pigs, pop on in the cottage and meet some of our adoptable kittens!

The  Cottage is best suited for children over the age of 8 years old. We encourage a $5 donation per group to hang out with the kitties. This donation helps us keep the cottage open and allows us to help cats and kittens in our community that need it most!

Whether you purchase a shirt, a jar of pickles, or bouquet of flowers, you are helping to keep us a sustainable sanctuary and our barn doors open so we can continue to help the animals that need it most.

Attending one of our farm fundraisers is one of the best ways to support the life saving work we do here every day. Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary will be open for regular visiting hours Saturday and Sunday August 8th and 9th from 11am-2:30pm. This is a special weekend as we are hosting Petals and Pigs! Our U-PICK flower garden is in full bloom so after you’re done petting the pigs, make sure you pick some pretty flowers too!

Self guided tours are best for children 6 years and older and we do not allow strollers or wagons on the farm as they tend to scare the sanctuary residents. Please note we don’t allow dogs to be walked through the farm.

Tickets can be purchased at the door ($12 per person including children of all ages) OR they can be purchased in advance online for $10 per person including children of all ages. 100% of all proceeds go directly back to caring for the animals that live at the sanctuary. The evening is truly one of the most magical times to be on the farm. Stroll through the fields as the sun begins to set, meet the horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and some of our pig residents, and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by rescued animals.

Of course, the highlight of the evening will be spending quality time with Elwyn himself! Get your photos, share some snuggles, and experience firsthand why so many people have fallen in love with this special little guy.

Because Elwyn is still just a baby, we’re keeping each meet-and-greet session to one hour and limiting the number of tickets available for each time slot. While Elwyn is incredibly sweet, social, and loves meeting new people, his safety, comfort, and well-being will always be our top priority. These smaller groups help ensure that he has a positive experience and doesn’t become overwhelmed.

Because Elwyn is still just a baby, we’re keeping each meet-and-greet session to one hour and limiting the number of tickets available for each time slot. These smaller groups help ensure that he has a positive experience and doesn’t become overwhelmed.

This unique outing benefits a great cause! After yoga is over the farm will be open until 2:30pm for guests to visit with the pigs. An Evening with Elwyn 🐷✨

These funds go directly towards covering the medical costs of spaying and neutering each cat that comes to The Cottage.

Mother’s Day at the Farm 💐🐷

Spend time exploring the farm, meeting our beloved pigs and enjoying the beauty of a place built just for them. Stop by the Kitty Cottage to visit our adoptable cats (entry is a $5 donation per person), and don’t forget to swing through The Back Forty General Store — your go-to spot for incredible vegan eats and treats like Rebel Cheese, Renegade Salami, gourmet pickles, homemade jams and jellies, and craft sodas.

Tanner will be on-site offering permanent jewelry — a perfect chance to get matching bracelets with your mom. We have a wide variety of adorable FARM CHARMS! We’ll also have beautiful hanging baskets available for purchase — just in time for spring gifting.

To make this event extra special, Nature’s Plate vegan food truck will be set up serving lunch! Special Vendor, Fig’s Farm will also be at the sanctuary selling vegan sweets and sour dough breads!

It’s one of our favorite weekends of the year and it’s right around the corner! Our annual flower fundraiser is back, and every beautiful bloom helps us continue caring for the animals who call the sanctuary home.

Early Bird Access – First Pick of the Flowers!
Join us on Friday, May 1st from 5–7pm for early access shopping! The flowers will arrive that morning, and this is your chance to grab the best selection before the weekend rush. **Please note that this time the farm will not be open for visitors, just to purchase flowers**

Come celebrate Earth Day at the farm with guest speaker Heather Figurelli, who will present “Native Gardening: Bringing it home to your Landscape”.

Heather and her family converted 10 acres of prior soybean/corn farming fields to a diverse native plant restoration. Come see how Oinking Acres became a catalyst in creating their dream land full of natives and all the benefits it provides.

Heather made an installation by our main barn last May to memorialize the amazing animals of OA that crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

She will discuss what native plants are, why they are important, which invasive plants to avoid, and small changes can lead to big positive environmental impacts.

As a devoted supporter of Oinking Acres, Heather and her family have become the forever home of several OA alumni.

If you’ve had interest in native gardening, please join us for this event! She will have samplings of native seeds for attendees.

All proceeds will go directly to the animals of Oinking Acres.

Gates open at 11:00 am. We encourage guests to visit with the sanctuary residents of Oinking Acres before the presentation. The Earth Day presentation will begin at 12:30 in the loft and will last an hour.

Tickets are $30 which includes exclusive time with the OA residents, entry into the Kitty Cuddle Cottage, and seed samples to take home. This event is limited to 30 tickets, which are non refundable and non transferable.

Oinking Acres Farm Rescue and Sanctuary will be open to the public Saturday March 21st from 11am-2:30pm. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $10 or purchased at the door for $12.

Visiting during our weekend open hours is one of the best ways to support the life saving work we do here every day. We want you to come see for yourself just how incredibly smart and endearing pigs really are! They have a zest for life and deserve the same love and respect their domestic counterparts enjoy.

Before you plan your visit please read the following carefully-

🐷Self guided tours are best for kids 6 years and older.

🐷We do not allow strollers, wagons, or dogs to walk through the sanctuary as they present safety risks to the residents.

🐷Please ensure you’re wearing appropriate clothes to be on the farm. Closed toe shoes are a must.
