Join us to watch the moon “gobble” up the sun at the Total Eclipse at the Barn at Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary! We are opening up our field for a small, exclusive viewing party for this once in a lifetime event! All of your ticket proceeds will directly support the animals in our care at OA. Get your tickets now, before they sell out! We are partnering with Soul Shine Vegan Café to bring you sandwiches, wraps, and treats for sale at The Back Forty Farm Market and General Store! We will also have drinks and other snacks for purchase. There will be no outside food or beverage allowed on the premise.

Join us Saturday 3/9/24 from 1pm-2pm for another yoga session at the sanctuary. This class will take place up in our beautiful loft.

Please note the loft is NOT heated however we will have heaters going.

This will be an intimate, smaller class with a very limited number of tickets. Chris Ozminkowski will be teaching this beginners session.

Join us Saturday 12/30 from 11-3pm for a piglet baby shower! For a $10 donation per person you can visit with your favorite residents at Oinking Acres and also welcome our newest babies, Frosty and Noelle.

We are in need of bags of feed, Tractor Supply gift cards to purchase feed and more fencing materials, bags of shavings, straw bales, hay bales, towels, blankets, rugs, comforters and, produce, (apples, carrots, cucumbers, strawberries, and grapes are some of their favorites.)

We hope you can all make it out to the baby shower!

We will have t shirts and other merch available for purchase. The Back Forty (located on the backside of the sanctuary) will also be open. My sister offers unique and handmade gifts and usually has a special drink or vegan bakery item for sale too. A portion of the proceeds from The Back Forty are donated to the pigs!

The Second Annual Great Pumpkin Drop is upon us!

Newfields generously donated hundreds of pumpkins to the pigs including a few absolutely gigantic pumpkins that weigh about 500 pounds each! This Saturday during our open visiting hours we will be hosting the second annual Great Pumpkin Drop. Last year we broadcasted a live stream from our social media platforms but this year we’re making it an event you can attend! The Great Pumpkin will drop at 1pm this Saturday November 11th. It’s a $10 donation per person to enter the farm and guests are welcome to bring snacks like apples, carrots, and cucumbers to feed the pigs. We hope to see you at the second annual Great Pumpkin Drop!
