Our Table

JOIN US AT OUR TABLE

We are honored to present for the third year in a row, a remarkable presentation of plant based cuisine curated by Chef Logan McMahan, owner of Corridor in Broadripple.

You are invited to indulge in an intimate dining experience in the Back Forty Garden, located at Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary. This will be an outdoor event on Saturday, September 12th, with cocktails and appetizers starting at 6 pm. Wander the farm, hand pick beautiful flower bouquets, visit with our animal residents, and mingle with guests prior to seating for dinner at 7 pm. Watch the sun set over the farm as Chef Logan delivers a seasonal, and exceptionally local four course dinner menu. We can’t wait to see you at our table!

TICKETS

Each ticket includes one seat at the table and includes appetizers, a four course meal, cocktails, and wine service during dinner.

Limited number of seating is available.

Dinner will be hosted in the garden at Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary, located at 8420 North County Rd 650 East, Brownsburg, IN 46112.

Tickets are $215 per person. The proceeds from this event will benefit Oinking Acres Farm Rescue and Sanctuary. Gratuity to the Corridor’s staff is encouraged.

MENU

Due to the seasonal nature of the dinner, the Chef’s menu may not be finalized until days before. Therefore, substitutions and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please note that most menus WILL include gluten, nuts, and sesame. The menu will be entirely meat and dairy free.

ELIGIBILITY/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS

Dinner is recommended for guests ages 21+. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another guest. If you are unable to attend, please contact us to let us know who will be taking your seat at the table. We will not have a waitlist for a sold out event, as it is unlikely that spots will become available. We hope to enjoy this event with perfect weather, but on the chance that we have rain, our rain date will be Sunday, September 14th at 6 pm.

Joining us at Our Table offers a unique opportunity to connect with passionate advocates of Oinking Acres while appreciating authentic conversation and incredible food. We hope that you feel inspired to join us. We can’t wait to see you!

Dress Code/Attire

This event will be entirely outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Our chef’s table event is a more upscale casual event, but please wear your most sensible shoes for walking around the farm grounds.

Pig Yoga

Before you purchase tickets, please note they are non refundable and non transferrable. This event will take place rain or shine. In the case of bad weather the class will move inside the barn.

Join us Sunday September 13th for another session of pig yoga at the sanctuary. This class will take place in the field amongst a whole herd of super friendly pigs.

*If we have bad weather, we will pivot and the class will take place in the main barn. Please note the barn is not heated and the floor is not concrete, there’s a layer of wood chips and straw down.*

Sarah Gray will be teaching this beginners session. Please bring your own mat. Tickets are $25 per person (including children) and they must be purchased in advance. Ticket sales are non refundable. This unique outing benefits a great cause! After yoga is over the farm will be open until 2:30pm for guests to visit with the pigs.

This is everything you'll find at the farm after yoga-

1- Pig Yoga merch will be available for purchase

2- Tons of delicious vegan snacks including a variety of Rebel Cheese, vegan salami and jerky, fruit spreads, and our famous pickles are restocked!

3- Take a walk back to the garden… she is absolutely STUNNING. We have row after row of zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, and sunflowers all waiting to be cut and arranged in a cute little take home vase. Stems are $1 and our unique, vintage vases range from $1-$8.

4- The Kitty Cottage is open this weekend too! After you’re done spending time with the pigs, pop on in the cottage and meet some of our adoptable kittens!

The Cottage is best suited for children over the age of 8 years old. We encourage a $5 donation per group to hang out with the kitties. This donation helps us keep the cottage open and allows us to help cats and kittens in our community that need it most!

Whether you purchase a shirt, a jar of pickles, or bouquet of flowers, you are helping to keep us a sustainable sanctuary and our barn doors open so we can continue to help the animals that need it most.

Attending one of our farm fundraisers is one of the best ways to support the life saving work we do here every day. We want you to come see for yourself just how incredibly smart and endearing pigs really are! They have a zest for life and deserve the same love and respect their domestic counterparts enjoy.

We hope to see you and all your friends and family on the farm for yoga!

Friday Night Farm Visits

Friday Night Farm Visits

Summer evenings at the sanctuary are something truly special, and we’re excited to announce that we’re now adding Friday Night Farm Visits to our schedule!

Over the last several weeks we’ve hosted our Evening with Elwyn events, and they’ve been such a hit. People have fallen in love with experiencing the farm as the sun begins to set. It’s quieter, cooler, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful.

We are now open to the public every Friday in August from 6:00–8:00 PM!

Admission to the farm is $12 at the gate or $10 when you purchase your tickets in advance.

Because Friday evenings are volunteer dependent, about half of the sanctuary will be open, but there will still be plenty to see and do.  You’ll have the opportunity to stroll our paved walking paths and spend time with many of our rescued residents, including pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, horses, and donkeys.

*If we have enough volunteer help, we will open the entire farm.*

Our U-PICK flower garden is also in full bloom! Grab a pair of snips and create your own beautiful bouquet. Stems are just $1 each, and we’ll have gorgeous vintage jars and vases available for purchase if you’d like to take your flowers home in something extra special.

The Kitty Cottage will be open as well! For a $5 donation per person, you can spend time with our adoptable cats and kittens while directly helping fund the spay and neuter surgeries every cat and kitten receives before finding their forever home.

The General Store will be open and we have plenty of seating in the garden. We have everything you need for the perfect picnic.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing evening outdoors, hoping to meet our sweet sanctuary residents, wanting to pick fresh flowers, or simply needing a peaceful way to end your week, Friday nights at Oinking Acres are the perfect way to do it.

Bring your family, bring a friend, and come experience the magic of the sanctuary at sunset. We can’t wait to spend Friday evenings with you!

You’ll have the opportunity to stroll our paved walking paths and spend time with many of our rescued residents, including pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, horses, and donkeys.

Evenings with Elwyn

An Evening with Elwyn

Have you ever dreamed of spending a summer evening with everyone’s favorite pig? Now’s your chance!

Join us at Oinking Acres for a special Meet & Greet with Elwyn on Friday July 3rd. This exclusive event gives you the opportunity to spend one-on-one time with the pig who has captured hearts of those near and far.

We have a couple different limited-capacity time slots available for Friday evening:

6-7pm

7-8pm

The evening is truly one of the most magical times to be on the farm. Stroll through the fields as the sun begins to set, meet the horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, and some of our pig residents, and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by rescued animals.

Of course, the highlight of the evening will be spending quality time with Elwyn himself! Get your photos, share some snuggles, and experience firsthand why so many people have fallen in love with this special little guy.

Because Elwyn is still just a baby, we’re keeping each meet-and-greet session to one hour and limiting the number of tickets available for each time slot. While Elwyn is incredibly sweet, social, and loves meeting new people, his safety, comfort, and well-being will always be our top priority. These smaller groups help ensure that he has a positive experience and doesn’t become overwhelmed.

Please note: This is a special event and only select areas of the farm will be open during your visit. The entire farm will not be accessible.

Tickets are $25 per person and very limited! Tickets must be purchased in advance and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you’ve ever wanted a more personal experience with Elwyn and the sanctuary, this is it. We expect these spots to fill quickly, so don’t wait!

Pigs and Native Plants

Pigs and Native Plants

Come celebrate Earth Day at the farm with guest speaker Heather Figurelli, who will present “Native Gardening: Bringing it home to your Landscape”.

Heather and her family converted 10 acres of prior soybean/corn farming fields to a diverse native plant restoration. Come see how Oinking Acres became a catalyst in creating their dream land full of natives and all the benefits it provides.

Heather made an installation by our main barn last May to memorialize the amazing animals of OA that crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

She will discuss what native plants are, why they are important, which invasive plants to avoid, and small changes can lead to big positive environmental impacts.

As a devoted supporter of Oinking Acres, Heather and her family have become the forever home of several OA alumni.

If you’ve had interest in native gardening, please join us for this event! She will have samplings of native seeds for attendees.

All proceeds will go directly to the animals of Oinking Acres.

Gates open at 11:00 am. We encourage guests to visit with the sanctuary residents of Oinking Acres before the presentation. The Earth Day presentation will begin at 12:30 in the loft and will last an hour.

Tickets are $30 which includes exclusive time with the OA residents, entry into the Kitty Cuddle Cottage, and seed samples to take home. This event is limited to 30 tickets, which are non refundable and non transferable.
