We have some exciting news to share with everyone!!

In the past, we have always operated on a reservation based tour schedule, but due to heightened interest and demand for tours, we are going to try something a little different so we may better accommodate our increased visitors.

Through the spring we have limited visiting hours. You may now take a self-guided tour throughout the farm and visit with the animals. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the farm to answer questions about the residents.

Please note we are ONLY open on the dates above. We will do our best to keep this schedule throughout the spring and summer, however, please check social media before planning your visit, in the event we have to close for inclimate weather, rescue emergencies, vet visits or transports.

Here’s some additional information to note when planning your visit to the sanctuary, please read carefully:

It’s a $10 donation per person (children included) to enter the farm.

OA is a rescue and sanctuary, and while calm, gentle petting of the animals is welcomed, we are not a ‘petting zoo.’

Our residents call the farm home, and our top priority is that they all feel safe and comfortable in their own home. Parents, we ask that you help your children to understand and respect the animals and their space. Running and screaming through the barn is prohibited, so as not to frighten the animals. Our number one rule is: Respect the animals.

The self-guided tour is best for children over the age of 6.

We do ask that if younger children accompany your group, that they be carried throughout the barn to eliminate the possibility of being stepped on. We are unable to permit strollers or wagons as they are a safety hazard to the animals.

Tours play a very important part at Oinking Acres!

Not only do the entry donations help cover the cost of feed, supplies, and vet care, but tours also raise awareness about pig rescue, allow folks to make connections with farm animals, and most importantly, these tours are educationally driven in hopes of dispelling societal misperceptions of pigs and farm animals, in general. We hope to be the change that ignites a kinder world for animals of all kinds.

We can’t wait to see you, your friends, and your family out at the farm!
